Reject, Stumbling Stones

As the rain drops tap our windows, while we're studying God's word, this verse spoke to me...

Matthew 5:48 (NLT) - But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.

For the natural eye, being perfect isn't easy. Why you ask? Because most people focus their attention solely on another person's past mistakes, instead of the manner in which the Lord to transformed them into a new creation  (2 Corinthians 5:17). The awesome part about the bible is that it's not based on fiction; on the contrary it's validity ...

When the Lord told Moses to go before Pharaoh and speak on His behalf so that the people of Israel could go 3 days and offer sacrifices to God. However, Moses's replied that he slow of tongue and that his speech wasn't eloquent enough (Exodus 4:10). Now, if a person isn't careful they feel that their not qualified to complete a particular task. However, just like the Lord saw the potential in Moses, even if Moses himself didn't see it, the same thing can happen to you ...

Not every quote catches our attention; but this one of the 26th President of the United States Theodore Roosevelt once said, did ...

"Do what you can with what you've got wherever you are."

On that note, as young Timothy once said and wrote ...

2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NLT) - But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.

Don't hesitate to put on your positive cap and shoes, then go forward to do what God has called you to do ...
